Comment: We had an enjoyable stay at Fitzwilliam. We were there from Dec 3-5 and that was the weekend Dublin had snow and it felt as if half the city had shutted down. Despite the cold, our rooms were warm and cozy nice. Clean sheets, towels, simple but apt room decor. Clean room, beds and bathroom were impt for us and our room definitely passed the WHITE & SPARKLING test. Water pressure (with hot water) great. Proximity to main attractions at this value price can't get any better. The people working there were cheery, helpful and always polite. There wasn't any escalator but no worries as the steps weren't difficult either... very pleasant stay overall and I'll be sure to always go back to fitzwilliam if I'm back in Dublin again.

Comment: It was very comfortable and clean there. All of staffs were very friendly and kind. Unfortunately we couldn't tell the staff thanks who was there as we arrived. He brought our heavy baggage from ground floor to our room. And we were there around mid night though he was very friendly. Actually other staffs were also nice. They were familiar like a friend so we could relaxed. I love there and all of staffs.

Comment: We ended up staying 2 nights longer than planned due to my husband's job and the adjustments were
made willingly. The beds were comfortable and the heated room was much appreciated. The proximity to Dublin tourist attractions and shopping is perfect with your location. We would return again. Dublin Hotels City Centre

There is not an elevator so it can be a big trek up four flights of stairs but worth it if you are capable of climbing.

Comment: The Fitzwilliam Guesthouse is ideally located for a central Dublin visit. We enjoyed our stay there and found the room spacious and the staff extremely helpful with recommendations for restaurants, pubs and directions. The Olive Green cafe around the corner is fabulous for a quick breakfast or sandwich too.

We enjoyed our days there. The staff was very helpful and the location was superb! Lots of good pubs and restaurants just around the corner, markets to pick up snacks and fruit, and the Green Bus stopped just a few streets away. A nice walk through the park and a short walk to GRafton Street - we had a good location, and the right price, to do it all.

I particularly liked the giant sash window that I could open to the breeze and sounds of the street. The area is quiet enough but an easy walk to Grafton St and Temple Bar.Everything was unfussy and well-done, and the staff were good intelligent folk! See you next time.

Comment: Very welcoming on arrival and gave directions and pubs to visit. It is in a nice area of georgian architecture. Our room was tasteflly decorated and very clean. The number 10 bus was very useful from O.Connel Street which just stops around the corner. On our leave we were allowed to leave our case when we vacacted the room to collect later on in the day. Would stay here again.

The location of the Fitzwilliam Townhouse is brilliant. It was close to the tour buses and convenient to all of the Dublin Hot Spots. Our concierges were lovely and accommodating with our late arrival on the first night. Not only did I enjoy my stay, but I will definitely stay again on my next trip to Dublin. We were greeted warmly and made to feel at home. The desk staff helped with directions and advice. Our room was clean and nicely decorated. The location was great for those sights in the Merrion Square area, although we found it easy to walk to more distant sights like St. Patrick's and Christ Church Cathdral.

Comment: Thanks for arranging early morning taxi ride, and warning me when there was bad traffic from road construction.

The neighbourhood was great, the room was palatial compared to most other places we've stayed in Europe and the view was nice from the window. The only complaint was a slightly moldy smell in the bathroom--but aren't most bathrooms that way? :)

A very pleasant stay in this hotel, I was on business so it was essential to be located in central Dublin. Hotel was very clean and fresh. Staff were excellent, extremely friendly. The location was brilliant, nice pubs, cafes etc which were located just down the street. I will definitely be back, as it was real vale for money for its type of hotel and location.

We did not stay at the hotel as we could not get over because of the flight situation but we have to say that when we contacted the hotel to inform them of this we were treated with the utmost courtesy and when we can get to Dublin we will certainly use this hotel.
